HTML5 · Yandex Direct and YAN
I will check an HTML5 banner for Yandex Direct and YAN
Moderation rejects HTML5 over technical details: Cyrillic in a file name, a font from someone else’s server, no ad.size. I find them in a second without sending the archive anywhere.

Show me the archive — I will check it against Yandex Direct and YAN: weight, file count and names, ad.size, the click and external requests.
Build HTML5 with NeuroNeuro builds HTML5 from an image for Yandex and Google and checks the archive against these same requirements. How I check
- Yandex Direct and YAN limits: archive up to 512 KB, up to 20 files, HTML up to 500 KB.
- Files: html, htm, js, json, css, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, svg; names in Latin letters, digits and -._~.
- The size goes in <meta name="ad.size" content="width=…,height=…">.
- The click via yandexHTML5BannerApi.getClickURLNum(1).
- From outside — only the platform’s allowed libraries and fonts, the rest inside the archive.
- I do not judge the animation or layout — only the technical requirements.
Common mistakes
- A font loaded from fonts.googleapis.com in a Yandex banner.
- The archive still has a __MACOSX folder and a Cyrillic file name.
- The link is hard-coded in href instead of the platform’s API.
FAQ
Is the archive uploaded anywhere?
No: I unpack it in your browser. That is why the check is free and unlimited.
