Text over 30 % of the area in a feed and over 35 % on a card hides the product. I count the share, the headline words and the typefaces.

How I check
- I add up the area of every text block except the logo.
- Feeds and banners: caution from 30 %, a problem from 45 %. Marketplace cards: 35 % and 50 %.
- A headline of up to 8 words, 1–2 typefaces.
Common mistakes
- Every benefit on one image instead of the main one.
- Three or four typefaces for “impact”.

Does the 20 % rule still apply?
Meta dropped the hard rule in 2020, but text-heavy creatives still deliver worse. I keep to 30 %.
